Information we handle

We process Shopify shop and authentication data plus the information needed for product registration and warranty support: customer name and email, product details, serial number, order number, purchase details, warranty dates, registration form responses, and claim descriptions and photos.

How we use it

We use this information to validate and record registrations, issue and email certificates, provide traceability exports, receive and manage claims, notify merchants and customers, operate billing, and respond to privacy requests. We do not sell customer data or use it for unrelated advertising.

Service providers

• Shopify provides shop, product, order, billing, and webhook services.
• Railway provides hosting and database infrastructure in the United States.
• Resend processes the recipient and message content needed to deliver email.

Retention and Shopify privacy requests

Records are retained while the app is installed and needed to provide the warranty and traceability service. On a Shopify customer-redact request, matching names, emails, custom answers, and claim photos are removed or anonymized while product and serial records are kept for merchant traceability. On a Shopify shop-redact request, all remaining shop records and uploaded claim files are deleted.

Security and international processing

Warrantix authenticates Shopify admin requests and webhooks, signs certificate links, and limits merchant records by shop. Information may be processed in the United States and other locations where our providers operate. No online service can promise absolute security.

Requests and contact

Customers should normally contact the merchant that collected their information. Merchants and data subjects can also contact midorry at info@midorry.com about access, correction, deletion, or privacy questions.
